An easy to follow tutorial for the packing of Fragile items
Packing  Ornaments
Prepare your packing area around waist height to avoid stretching and risk of injury to your back
Make up your first carton and fold the tops over, then make up another carton and sit this on top of the first. This will allow you to place items in the box without over stretching. Once full replace the empty bottom carton with the packed carton and start again.
Place a layer of scrunched paper in the bottom of the carton.
Start with heavier items first then lighter items on top.
Items have different risk elements i.e figurines may have protruding arms which are prone to breaking. Risk of damage can be reduced by pushing paper, tissue or bubble wrap under the protruding part and then wrap as a whole.
Fill any gaps to prevent movement
Seal the carton and mark as Fragile
